Pointing & Jointing required a website that had a sleek structure and a layout that clearly displayed their services, allowing visitors to find the necessary help to complete a project or solve a problem, whilst simultaneously building trust and confidence in the company and its workmen.
Foundry Digital Designers and Developers worked together to produce a clearly structured, visually appealing website that allowed visitors to move around and locate the information that they seek.
It was important that Pointing & Jointing could demonstrate their strong reputation in a comprehensive manner, and as such Foundry Digital suggested including a Projects page. As well as this, to promote the strong reputation that Pointing & Jointing have worked to obtain, it was suggested that the website incorporate an area in which visitors can learn more about the company.
The Services page neatly showcases the range of options that customers can choose from. The bold colours and icons act as calls-to-action that engage the user whilst allowing the branding to maintain a strong presence throughout the page. A hover feature was included to enable visitors to read a brief summary of each service, as well as giving them an opportunity to get in touch once they have selected the service required.
On the Projects page, visitors can browse through previous projects completed by the team of workmen, including details and images of the work as well as descriptions of the jobs done should visitors want to learn more. The About Us page includes images of the team as well as a comprehensive description of what the company do. This aims to assure customers that Pointing & Jointing have a reputation for completing projects to a high and professional standard.
Throughout the website, large icons invite visitors to get in contact in order to enquire about work that they should need doing. To increase the number of opportunities through which customers can get in touch with the Pointing & Jointing team, a separate Contact page was created. Here, visitors can fill out enquiry forms and view the company’s geographical location on a map to work out when and how long it will take for the workmen to provide them with a solution.
