Welcome Tilly to the FDRY team! FDRY have been expanding and we have brought on a brand new member of the team. Coming on board to help out with our projects, welcome Tilly, our new project coordinator working alongside the rest of the team.
Just like we like getting to know everyone at FDRY, we’ve asked her a few questions so you can get to know her too!
What were you doing before joining FDRY?
Before joining Foundry Digital I undertook a 9 week intensive web development bootcamp having been teaching myself to code alongside managing a water sports centre down in Cornwall last summer.
What tasks part of your role are you most excited about?
I have always enjoyed taking initiative and being a driving force towards getting things done. My skills are in organisation and strategy and I’m really looking forward to getting stuck in with the Foundry team and improving what I can, where I can, as well as learning as much as possible on the way.
What has been your favourite thing about working at FDRY so far?
I’ve been given responsibility from the word go, and not once have I felt like I can’t ask a question or for some help. The team is super inclusive and it’s so great to feel valued already!
Being from Cornwall, are you passionate about surfing and scones?
I am a keen surfer and absolutely love being in the sea, as for scones though – they will have to be gluten free! (Did I just make a rhyme?).
Netflix or Amazon Prime?
Netflix (and chill).
What show are you currently watching on Netflix or Amazon Prime?
I’ve just finished Sex Education on Netflix, which I found absolutely hysterical. I’m not sure what to watch next, but I’ve heard great things about The Stranger.
